Mi Garage Artesanal
Brand identity, online catalogue and WhatsApp ordering for a craft-supplies shop: one source of truth for prices and stock.

(01) Overview
Mi Garage Artesanal sells haberdashery, artisan tools, beads, leathercraft and embroidery supplies. The project covered everything the shop needed to exist online: a visual identity chosen by the owner, a catalogue site where prices and stock are always current, a self-service admin panel, and an Instagram kit generated straight from the real inventory.

The Challenge
The shop sold through Instagram and chat, with no way to publish an up-to-date price list: a price printed on a post has to be redone every time the list changes. The owner is not technical, so whatever replaced that had to be run by her alone, and the brand had to feel like a craft fair, not like a generic online store.
The Approach
One rule shaped the architecture: prices never go on social images. Every post and story links to the site, where each product has its own page with live price and stock. The cart re-reads prices from the database when it opens and hands the order to WhatsApp as a pre-written message, because the sale closes by chatting. Six aesthetic directions and three isotypes were rendered as complete brand boards so the owner could compare whole systems; she chose Feria Retro with the flower-button mark, and the site tokens are taken directly from that design system.

(02) Brand & Design System
Feria Retro pairs a terracotta primary with olive and mustard over a cream ground, Fraunces for display and a script accent reserved for short phrases. The isotype is a flower-shaped button with four holes, drawn as inline SVG so it recolours per context, and it also tiles the page background at low opacity. The rules are explicit: no emojis, one primary colour per piece, and once a direction is chosen its tokens govern every piece.

(03) The Product
Prices and stock, always current
Category chips that only offer categories with products, accent-insensitive search, an in-stock toggle and a live count. The active filter is mirrored in the URL, so a filtered view can be shared as a link.
The cart writes the WhatsApp message
A side panel with quantities and totals. Prices are not stored in the cart: they are re-read when it opens, so an order always uses today's price, and items removed from the catalogue are purged with a notice. One tap opens WhatsApp with the itemised order.
The destination of every Instagram link
Each product gets its own URL with a slug generated by the database, its own title and share image. Stories and posts point here, which is what makes it possible to keep prices off the images.
Nine boards to make one decision
Three colour directions crossed with three isotypes, each rendered as a full board with logo, palette, type and applications. All of them come out of a single design-system file driven by CSS custom properties, so they regenerate without redrawing anything.
Social content generated from inventory
A Node script reads the published products and outputs profile pictures, highlight covers per category and one story per product, plus a list mapping every story to its product URL for the link sticker.
(04) The Outcome
The site is live at migarageartesanal.com with the real catalogue, category filters, search and orders assembled for WhatsApp. The owner loads products, photos, stock and sale prices herself; access is governed by row-level security in the database rather than by the login screen. The Instagram kit (profile pictures, highlight covers, one story per product and launch posts) is generated by a script from the same inventory, each piece paired with the link to its product page.
