Sin Rival/2026
Sin Rival
A proposal for a party supply shop: one barcode stock system, designed three times at three budget levels so the client could see what each price buys.

(01) Overview
Sin Rival is a party supply shop in San Luis, Argentina, tracking more than 2,000 items by hand. The proposal was a web app used from a phone inside the shop: each product loaded with its barcode, sales scanned with the phone camera and stock discounted automatically. This is a smaller case. What I designed was the proposal itself: a printable document and three sets of screens, mobile and desktop, one per budget.

(A) The Challenge
All three budgets cover the same features: barcode loading, camera scanning, automatic discount, alerts, search and two access levels. A list of bullet points makes three prices look like the same thing. The client had to see, before paying, what changes between them.
(B) The Approach
- 01
Same screens, three finishes
Instead of a list, I designed the same three screens, Products, Dashboard and Sale, at three levels of finish, to be shown side by side.
- 02
From plain lists to cards
Basic uses plain lists and alerts as red text. Intermediate adds metric cards, colour badges for each stock state and a side alert panel on desktop.
- 03
A scanner that looks ahead
Complete adds sidebar navigation, a weekly sales chart, a movement history with user and time, and an animated scanner that shows the stock left before confirming the sale.
- 04
Each price with its screens
The A4 document explains scope, tiers, support and a monthly fee, and each tier is followed by its own screens, so every price is read next to what it buys.

(02) Brand & Design System
The interface takes the shop's own logo and red over near black: surfaces in two greys, hairline borders and red reserved for alerts, the main action and the active tab. Inter carries everything, with tabular figures so stock and amounts line up in every list.

(03) The Product
One dashboard, three budgets
The same dashboard at each level: totals as a plain list, then metric cards with stock badges, then cards with priority alerts and the latest movements by user. Side by side, the difference in price becomes a difference you can see.
Scanning at the counter
From a scan button and a simple cart, to an on-screen scanner with quantity controls, to an animated scanner that confirms the product added and how much stock will remain before closing the sale.
The complete tier as a professional tool
Sidebar navigation with an administration area, metric cards, a weekly sales chart, priority alerts, the latest movements and items without movement for more than 30 days, on a dark interface built around the shop's red.
A document that sells by showing
Cover with the three tiers, a page on what will be built and what is shared, one page per tier followed by its screens, and a closing page on the monthly fee with infrastructure, response times and no lock-in.
(04) The Outcome
A nine-page printable A4 proposal and three sets of mockups, each with three phone views and three desktop views, all with the shop's logo and realistic product data. Each tier states its timeline, from one to four weeks, and its support, from one training session and 15 days of fixes up to full training, help with the initial load and 60 days of adjustments.
